Each time you see us in a boat we were in it for 2 - 3 hours usually in the jungle or on the Napo river.
We saw monkeys playing in trees. We saw a Boa Constrictor wold high in a tree waiting for the parrots
to arrive when one would accidentally land on it thinking it was a branch. We only saw te parrots from
a distance as they were still wary .
Although there were only 4 of us, this is the boat that took us down the Napo River. a 2 hour ride.
A blessing and a curse as oil takes over the rainforest. It is raising the standard of living but at a high cost. This area is the lungs of the world
Yes it was windy!
It was mostly open river about a mile wide but with many sandbars causing the captain to hug one side and then the other.
The river is very muddy because the banks are mud and in the rainy season more and more feeds into the river
The Kichwa people live along the river
